AIA|DC will host its Thing in the Spring on May 21. You might well ask, “What is this Thing in the Spring?”
And we’re so glad you did:
It’s a rooftop networking event celebrating Washington, D.C.’s Design Community, to be held on May 21st from 6:30–8:30pm at the Pillsbury Pittman Shaw Winthrop building between Dupont Circle and Scott Circle, which boasts awesome views from the rooftop as well as mingling (and drinking) opportunities with colleagues. All the proceeds from the event go to support the Washington Architectural Foundation. Please consider joining all the AIA|DC & WAF board members. More information and ticketing links can be found at AIA|DC.
Additionally, since you’ve read this far, Marcy Giannunzio, AIA, of Wnuk Spurlock Architecture would like to mention that if you’re not a member of AIA|DC, or either NOVA or Potomac Valley, please consider joining AIA|DC. Marcy will be at the event and would love to talk to anyone about AIA|DC. She has been a member since 2008 and has enjoyed the camaraderie and education she had gained through the chapter and its active knowledge committees.
