The Architecture Uncensored lecture series aims to discuss the honest realities, taboos, conflicts, controversial issues and inspirations that shape the architectural profession.
As a young practitioner we quickly learn the importance of billable work, but sometime it seems to overshadow architectural passion. As architects, or aspiring architects, we love to read, draw, research and discover. Is there room for this in the profession or is fulfillment something we must only pursue outside of work hours? How do firms find ways to be progressive, and still stay profitable? What about giving back to the community? All these questions and more will be debated as we discuss research in corporate practice.
