AIA|DC’s Emerging Architects Committee is pleased to announce that Joel Pominville, Assoc. AIA, the current AIAS Vice President and a Clemson University graduate, will be joining us for our upcoming Debate on Licensure Upon Graduation, the last installment of this year’s Architecture Uncensored series.
Joel did not draw a picture of a building with crayons when he was seven proclaiming “I want to be an architect!” However, Joel has always had a relentless love for those around him. Furthermore, he is inspired by finding ways to work with those people to impact their community. Architecture and design just so happen to be an incredible means of achieving said impact. In a way, above his relatively new awareness and love for design as architecture, he has an even deeper love for design as social environment, development, and systems. Through his continued path in education and practice, Joel aims to make architecture and design increasingly more accessible.
Joel will be joined by:
- Ryan McEnroe, AIA, a project architect with McGraw Bagnoli Architects and the Mid-Atlantic regional director for the Young Architects Forum (YAF)
- Andrew Rashid, AIA, principal and founder of Rashid Architects
