AIA|DC’s Emerging Architects Committee is pleased to announce that Ryan McEnroe, AIA, a project architect with McGraw Bagnoli Architects, will be joining us for our upcoming Mentoring Workshop on Leadership in Professional Organizations.
Ryan McEnroe, AIA, ASLA, LEED AP, spent the majority of his childhood working the fields and learning the principles of organic agriculture on his family’s farm. There regenerative qualities have been ingrained into his critical thinking and are brought into his approach during every aspect of the design process. As a graduate of the University of Virginia, Mr. McEnroe is both a licensed architect and licensed landscape architect. He is an active participant within the professional community, serving on the National Architectural Accrediting Board as well as the National Council of Architecture Registration Board. Additionally he serves the AIA|DC Chapter on the Emerging Architects Committee, serves on the chapters Education Committee and is the past chair and co-founder of the Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program (CKLDP).
In 2014 he was awarded with the AIA|DC Emerging Architect Award and in 2015 the DCCEAS Young Architect Award. In addition, Mr. McEnroe has received a number of design awards, including an AIA|DC Un-built Honor Award for the University of Virginia Center for Innovation, and a VS-ASLA and Potomac ASLA Honor Award for the South Carlyle Master Plan.
