#EACMentors Speaker Spotlight: Yiselle Santos Rivera

AIA|DC’s Emerging Architects Committee is pleased to announce that Yiselle Santos Rivera, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP BD+C of HKS, will be joining us for our upcoming Mentoring Workshop on Leadership in Professional Organizations.

 

Yiselle headshotYiselle Santos Rivera, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, is an Associate and BIM Champion at the Washington, D.C. office of HKS. Her technical expertise is utilized on a variety of local projects ranging from Healthcare, Commercial, Justice, Sports, and Science & Technology. Internationally, she has both designed and developed mixed-use master plans, hotels, and high-end residential projects. Ms. Santos is a co-founder and former chair of the LA.IDEA AIA|DC Committee, where she served as both Fundraising Director and Treasurer.  She initiated Capitol Pecha Kucha events for the DC area and is a former Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program 2015 scholar. Currently, she volunteers for WAF’s Architecture in the Schools program and serves on the AIA|DC Emerging Architects Committee.  She is the Mid-Atlantic Regional Associate Director on the AIA National Associates Committee and remains active in their Advocacy Task-Force.  She was also elected as a Director-At-Large on the AIA|DC Board of Directors.
