#ArchUncensored Speaker Spotlight: Elijah Northen, AIA

AIA|DC’s Emerging Architects Committee is pleased to announce that Elijah Northen, AIA, principal of EN Architects, will be joining us for our April 6 discussion on The Cost of Loyalty, the second installment of this year’s Architecture Uncensored series (Register here via AIA|DC).

Elijah Northen, AIA, LEED-AP, Principal of EN architects, has a consistent philosophical approach: Keep it simple. EN designs small to mid-size highly crafted environments to improve communities. Their designs embrace place and time; building upon tradition without attempting to replicate history. EN Architects recently launch “Analogue”, a community development company. Eli holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Maryland, College Park, where he received the Faculty Award for Design Excellence, the Michael DeFrance Travel Fellowship, and serves as a Studio Instructor and Lecturer. He’s a Board Member of Baltimore Corps, and Vice Chair of Emerging Leaders United. When not designing, Eli’s a novice road cyclist, museum junkie, street taco aficionado, and professional 5-year old wrangler.
