Getting to the job offer can be complicated and discouraging; especially for those who don’t understand the process. This workshop will reveal what happens behind the scenes of the hiring process from resume review to offer negotiations. We will discuss resume design, strategies for getting an interview, review tips and techniques for a successful interview, and ways to negotiate once you receive an offer.

- Describe the hiring process of a typical architecture firm;
- Design a resume package that is more effective in landing an interview, based on a new understanding of the hiring process;
- Design a portfolio and utilize interview techniques to help employers see that the candidate is a great choice for their firm; and
- Use negotiation tips and techniques for ensuring a successful outcome to your job search.
